Music of the Isles

the weekly program of folk and acoustic music old and new from the Celtic countries
with host Bill Dudley

Thursday evenings 7:00 to 9:00 Eastern Time on Community Radio

WMNF 88.5

on Florida's West Coast

Instituted in 1979, WMNF's Music of the Isles has been home to a variety of artists, groups and musical styles, from Irish, Scottish, English, Canadian and Breton tunes and songs, to sea chanties, medieval and renaissance works, even a bit of new age. Bill Dudley, who also produces the weekly Live Music Showcase on WMNF, programs music from the newest releases mixed with old favorites from the last two decades.

Here are just a few links of interest to those wanting to know about Celtic Music or Culture, including the all-time most Frequently Asked Question: "Where can I get that album?"

(since this list was compiled several years ago, the number of web sites featuring Celtic music has exploded. Just type your favorite group name into Google.com and chances are you'll be able to order their stuff online immediately)
